~ building a permanent endowment fund for Community needs in education, arts and culture, health, recreation, social and community development;
~ providing a flexible vehicle for donors with varied charitable interests;
~ demonstrating Community Leadership through innovative programs, identification of priority needs, and sharing information broadly;
~ using resources wisely and efficiently to respond to emerging needs and to sustain important existing organizations and institutions.
